F.R.P. Open Lifeboat Introduction
The F.R.P. open lifeboat is an economical lifeboat, which could meet the requirement of common lifesaving. It is applicable for water passenger vessels working in the offing or rivers. It is designed and built according to the latest regulations of SOLAS and international standards. It is made from fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP), between its inner hull and outer hull is filled with polyurethane foams to offer sufficient buoyancy. If damages occur to the boat body underwater, the buoyant hull can still provide sufficient buoyancy to enable the boat to sail on the safe water surface.
Oil-resistance foam fenders can be equipped on both sides of the open lifeboat, and two layers of fixture rubber are installed outside to facilitate replacement. Steel handrails are installed on both sides of the boat for occupants. Self-discharging deck ensures the quick discharge of water in the boat.
